I remember this being one of the first songs I was really proud to be able to play. Looking back now, I wasn’t as good as I thought, I still can’t play it right. Regardless, this song is just a perfect example of all the elements that come together to create a great Led Zeppelin song. From the opening lines curtesy of the late, great John Bonham: “We’ve done four already but now we’re steady / And then they went: One, two, three, four” through to one of Jimmy Page’s best and heaviest riffs, elevated by Robert Plant’s unreal vocal range, and all tied together by the steadiest rhythm section in the business (Bonzo and John Paul Jones). Quality stuff man, enjoy.
